DeTrease Harrison has served as assistant
athletic director for business since 1994.
She monitors athletic budgets and serves as meet director for the
Colonial Athletic Association Track & Field Championships.
In 2000 she was the tournament manager for the NCAA Division I
Women’s Volleyball Championships, hosted by VCU. She also
served as the chair for the NCAA Division I Track & Cross
Country committee for two years.
A former track letterwinner at the College of William & Mary, Harrison is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, as well as the College Athletics Business Managers Association (CABMA).
Harrison is a Richmond native and graduate of nearby Midlothian High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from William & Mary in 1992 and her MBA from VCU in 1996.
