Hannah Jaussen joined the VCU sports medicine staff in June 2015 and currently serves as the primary athletic trainer for the women’s basketball team and the men’s golf team.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she earned her B.S. in Athletic Training from Clarion University. Following her four years there, she moved to Logan, Utah and worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Utah State University for two years. She worked primarily with football the first year and women’s soccer the second year and graduated with a M.S. in Health and Human Movement with an emphasis in Sports Medicine.
Following her time at Utah State University, she worked for three years at Saint Francis University of Pennsylvania. Her primary responsibilities there were Women’s Soccer, Women’s Basketball and Men and Women’s Tennis.
Hannah is additionally certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist, as well as an active member in the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
