Myriam Bouchard

Title: Graduate Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

After anchoring the Virginia Commonwealth University's womensoccer back line during her four-year career, MyriamBouchard has now joined the sidelines as a graduateassistant coach. She will help continue to lead a core group ofdefenders that return for the Rams in 2011, many of which sheplayed with during her tenure.

Bouchard's numbers with the Rams defense are very impressive.During her four campaigns with the Black & Gold, opponents wereshutout 32 times, while her defense held opponents to one goal orless 56 times during her 78 career games.  She receivedAll-Colonial Athletic Association accolades during all four of herseasons at VCU, while earning CAA Defensive Player of the Yearhonors in 2010. 

Aside from her success with the Rams, Bouchard also garnersinternational experience, having played on the Canadian nationalteam. In 2008, she redshirted at VCU in order to play with Canada'sU-20 World Cup squad.  She captained the team that competed inthe U-20 World Cup in Germany.
