Alli Slater joined VCU Athletics in 2013 as the Assistant Director for Facilities and Event Management.
In her role, Slater serves as the game manager for Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Women’s Basketball and Track and Field, and the facility manager for Women’s Basketball and Volleyball.
Slater has been the tournament manager at VCU for the Men’s and Women’s Soccer Nike Cup Classic as well as postseason events, which includes the 2013 Atlantic 10 Women’s Soccer Tournament and the 2013 Men’s Soccer NCAA Tournament First Round game.
Prior to her arrival at VCU, Slater operated as the Facilities, Operations Coordinator at the University of Maryland. At Maryland, she served as the game manager for a pair of national champion teams and managed day-to-day operations of the Terp Host guest relations staff, which involved managing over 250 staff members. Additionally, Slater coordinated staffing and assisted in game operation for a variety of ACC postseason tournaments.
Slater has also spent time in event management roles at James Madison University and Towson University.
Slater received her Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore in 2011, and her Bachelor’s of Science from Towson University in 2008. Both degrees concentrated on sports management.
