Nominations are being accepted for the 2010 induction class. This nomination form should be accompanied by a current resumé and supporting materials (i.e., newspaper clippings, copies of award certificates, copies of honor certificates, etc.)
Criteria for membership in the Hall of Fame include but are not limited to:
1. The Hall of Fame will be open to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments as an intercollegiate student-athlete with at least two (2) years of participation at VCU, as a coach who has compiled a distinguished record at VCU, as an administrator who has made a long-term commitment to the University’s athletic program through exemplary leadership and vision, or as a team that has made significant contributions to the success of the VCU athletic program.
2. Additional consideration will be given for outstanding performance in chosen vocations that bring recognition to VCU.
3. Nominees must be at least ten (10) years removed from intercollegiate competition. A coach or administrator must have departed his/her position in the Athletic Department prior to consideration for the Hall of Fame.
4. No more than two (2) individuals, and not more than one (1) team, will be inducted annually.
