VCU ATHLETICS EVENTS IMPACTED BY HURRICANE FLORENCE

RICHMOND, Va. – A number of VCU Athletics events scheduled for this weekend will be impacted by Hurricane Florence. VCU has made the following schedule changes:

VCU Volleyball
VCU Invitational scheduled for Sept. 14-15 is cancelled and will not be rescheduled. The Rams' match against James Madison on Monday, Sept. 17 at 6 p.m. at the Siegel Center is, at this time, still scheduled to be played.

VCU Women's Soccer
VCU's match with Howard on Thursday, Sept. 13 has been cancelled. No makeup date has been announced. The Rams' match against UNC Greensboro is currently still scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. at Sports Backers Stadium.

Cross Country
The Adidas Challenge on Friday, Sept. 14 in Cary, N.C. has been cancelled.

Field Hockey
Will play play Saint Louis on Friday, Sept. 14 at 3 p.m. and Towson on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. at Cary Street Field as scheduled. 

Golf
The VCU Shootout at the Country Club of Virginia's Tuckahoe Creek Course is still scheduled for Sept. 17-18.
