VCU CONCLUDES SEASON WITH 1-0 LOSS TO NORTHEASTERN

BOSTON, Mass. – Hard luck Virginia Commonwealth University dropped a 1-0 overtime contest at Northeastern Sunday in the Rams final match of the season.

VCU concludes the 2007 campaign at 5-13 overall and 1-7 in the Colonial Athletic Association. Northeastern is 8-11.

Despite 10 saves from senior keeper Brittany LoVullo (Williamsville, N.Y./Williamsville North) the Black and Gold dropped its fourth overtime contest of the season.

A goal by the Huskies Ashley Bascetta 7:21 into overtime handed the win to Northeastern.
