There's nothing more legendary in the VCU Athletic Department than
the tennis programs. With nearly 30 NCAA Tournament appearances
since 1993, the Rams are nationally power on the courts. Thalhimer
Tennis Center gives the Black & Gold 24-hour access to
practice.
I
t houses six courts and seating for roughly 300 people and is
equipped with a brand new scoreboard for VCU matches.
It's hosted NCAA Regional matches on four separate occassions
and allows for indoor and outdoor play with an air-supported
structure known as "The Bubble". It also allows the Rams to work on
their game all-year round.
It's located between Main and Cary Street in the heart of VCU's
Monroe Park Campus, allowing easy access for the student-athletes
from their classes and studies.
