ONLINE REGISTRATION

Kelly McQuade and her coaching staff have led a recent resurgence within the VCU Field Hockey program and now they are giving young girls in the Richmond area a chance to have improve their game just like the Rams have improved over the past four years under McQuade's watchful eye.

McQuade, the 2010 Colonial Athletic Association Coach of the Year, has announced the dates of her 2011 Field Hockey Camp, which will be held at Virginia Commonwealth University.

The camp will run from July 6-9 at VCU's Cary Street Field and is open to overnight, as well as commuter campers. There will be availability for teams, as well as individuals.

McQuade's camp will feature top-level skill instruction from various enthusiastic Division I head and assistant coaches from all over the east coast. VCU players will also assist as counselors. The camp philosophy is to teach top-level skills to each camper, while providing enthusiastic knowledge of the game. Bottom line, we hope to provide each camper a fun-filled learning experience.

In 2010, McQuade led the VCU Field Hockey Team to its best season since 1992. The Rams won 13 matches, the second-most in program history and had five player garner All-CAA recognition.

McQuade spent her playing days at William & Mary, where she starred in both field hockey and lacrosse. She was a member of two NCAA field hockey tournament squads.
