SNOW FORCES CANCELLATION OF RAMS’ CONTEST WITH LIBERTY
Game may be made up at a later date

RICHMOND, Va. – The ides of March are upon us and that has meant a heavy accumulation of snow across much of the East Coast.

The winter storm has forced the cancellation of the Virginia Commonwealth University baseball team’s first mid-week contest of the year against the Flames of Liberty on Tuesday afternoon at The Diamond.

The two teams will look to make up the game at a later date this season.

VCU will be back in action this weekend as it hosts the Rams of Fordham University in a four-game set. Game one is scheduled for Friday at 3 p.m.
