Former Virginia Commonwealth University standouts Brandon Inge and Scott Sizemore continue to build the VCU baseball tradition long after their collegiate days in Richmond.  Following Major League Baseball’s All-Star festivities, the Rams accomplished a feat no other baseball program in the country can claim.

DID YOU KNOW?

VCU was the only school in the nation to be represented in the XM Futures All-Star Game (Sizemore), which showcases the top prospects in Major League Baseball, and the MLB All-Star Game (Inge) and Home Run Derby (Inge).

The Rams joined Miami (Ryan Braun & Jemile Weeks), Long Beach State (Evan Longoria & Danny Espinosa) and Arizona State (Dustin Pedroia & Brett Wallace) as one of only four programs in the country to be represented in the Futures Game and All-Star Game.
