High School: Four-year letter-winner at J.R. Tucker High School... Played for former Ram standout, Donnie Phillips, with the Post 361 American Legion team... Selected the most improved varsity player for his debut season with the Tigers... Earned Honorable mention All-District selection his junior season... Named captain and selected to the second team All-District squad his senior season... Named team MVP during his final season at J.R. Tucker.
