2008/Sophomore: Made only one start for the Rams before being redshirted.

2007/Freshman: Appeared in 14 games for the Black and Gold, recieving the start on five occassions... In 44.1 innings pitched, walked just 12 and racked up 25 strikeouts... Made collegiate debut against nationally-ranked San Diego, tossing two innings of relief (2/17)... Earned spot in weekend rotation after allowing just two earned runs over a span of 13.1 innings and four appearances... Posted career-high six strikeouts in 12-11 loss at Georgia State (4/15)... Tossed career-high 5.1 innings against Old Dominion, allowing just two earned runs (4/8).

Prior to VCU: Four year baseball letter winner for Belvidere High School... Started at shortstop on the varsity team his freshman year... Second team All-Conference at-large selection, first team All-County his junior season... Selected First Team All-Conference, first team All-County, and second team All-West Jersey his senior season... Named third team All-State Group 1 Pitcher... Also played three years of high school basketball.
