2008/Freshman: Tallied 8.1 innings of work in six relief appearances for the Rams... Notched eight strikeouts on the year... Allowed no runs, one hit and struck out one in first relief appearance against Manhattan (3/15)... Had scoreless appearance at Virginia Tech (4/9)... Went two innings, allowing one hit and striking out four in home win over Northeastern (4/11).

Prior to VCU: Four-year letter-winner at Osbourn Park High School... Led the Yellow Jackets to Regional Berths in his freshman and junior seasons... Named to the First-Team All-District, First-Team All-Region, First-Team All-Extra, First-Team All-Area during his junior campaign... Posted a 10-2 mark with 98 strikeouts during that season, earning him Team MVP honors... Played for the Virginia Barnstormers and Prince William Patriots in summer leagues.
