ROWDY RAMS

People around the Atlantic 10 try to claim other schools have better student sections than the beloved Rams fans.  Anyone who has ever been to the sold out Verizon Wireless Arena at the Stuart C. Siegel Center knows that’s just not true .The Rowdy Rams are a branch of the Ram Athletic Fund that is aimed towards the current students at VCU. They display both loyalty and support towards each one of VCU’s sports programs.

The initiative is to build better relationships between our athletic department and the student body.  The goal is to educate these students the importance of giving back to their University and that their membership fee helps support VCU Athletics.

In return, Rowdy Rams receive many benefits such as:

• VIP entrance that guarantees admission up until 30 minutes prior to the start of the game.
• Exclusive Rowdy Rams t-shirt
• Discounts to local restaurants on campus
• Priority on post-season tickets
• Invitations to exclusive events

Rowdy Rams can pick up their t-shirts at the VCU Ticket Office during regular business hours (Mon.-Fri. 9-4) with a valid VCU Student ID. You may pick up a friends t-shirt as long as you have their VCU Student ID.

Unfortunately, the Rowdy Rams have sold out for the 2012-13 academic year.

This is a great way for students to get involved with the largest growing organization on campus. Membership costs $25 per academic year.  Students can sign up online by visiting (www.support.vcu.edu/event/rowdyrams) or by visiting the VCU Ticket Office at 1200 W.
